British-Ukrainian defense technology company Occam Industries has raised €3.8 million in new funding to expand its autonomous drone software and accelerate deployment with military users. The investment brings the company's total funding raised in 2026 to €7 million.

Denmark-based North Ventures led the latest round, with participation from Finnish investor Sparkmind and UK-based Grenadyr. Existing investors Antler, Tech Horizons, T|Y|R.vc and Freedom Fund also made follow-on investments.

Occam Industries operates from London and Kyiv and develops software designed to add autonomous capabilities to existing unmanned aerial vehicles without requiring manufacturers to redesign their platforms.

The company plans to use the new capital for research and development, expansion of its engineering team in Ukraine, further integrations with drone manufacturers and broader entry into European and NATO defense markets.

## Occam software is already being deployed in Ukraine

Occam develops hardware-agnostic autonomy software based on computer vision and machine learning. Its technology is designed to allow unmanned systems to continue parts of their mission without a constant operator connection or satellite navigation signal, a requirement that has become increasingly important in electronic warfare environments.

The company's first operational product, Occam Ambush, combines autonomous detection, tracking and terminal guidance functions for FPV drones.

According to information released by the company, Occam currently works with four major Ukrainian drone manufacturers and 12 units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The system runs on an onboard computing unit and can be integrated into existing drone platforms through the company's modular software architecture rather than requiring a new aircraft design.

Occam also plans to expand its Ukrainian engineering operation. The company expects to add at least 10 specialists by the end of 2026.

## Funding reaches €7 million in 2026

The €3.8 million investment is Occam Industries' second funding round this year.

In February 2026, the company raised €3 million in a pre-seed round led by Presto Tech Horizons, with participation from Antler, Freedom Fund and T|Y|R.vc.

That financing followed Occam's assessment for integration testing through Ukraine's BRAVE1 defense technology ecosystem.

The latest investment marks a shift from initial testing and integration toward wider deployment. Occam is also working on autonomy applications for interceptor drones, reconnaissance missions and target matching for longer-range systems.

The company has indicated that it is working toward additional integrations with European defense partners as it expands beyond Ukraine.
