**Serbian defense manufacturer Trayal Corporation has inaugurated a new ammonium perchlorate production facility in Kruševac, marking a significant expansion of the country's domestic defense industrial capabilities. The opening on October 14, 2026, was attended by Defense Minister Bratislav Gašić.**

The new facility is located at Trayal's Obilićevo industrial complex. Ammonium perchlorate is a key oxidizer used in composite solid rocket propellants, making it an important material for missile and rocket propulsion systems.

According to Trayal CEO Miloš Nenezić, Serbia previously lacked domestic ammonium perchlorate production and depended on imports. The new facility is intended to reduce that dependence and strengthen the country's domestic supply chain for defense-related materials.

### Expanding Serbia's Rocket Propellant Industry

Nenezić said Trayal had already established production capabilities for composite rocket propellants and thermobaric mixtures in recent years. The addition of ammonium perchlorate production brings another critical material into the company's domestic manufacturing portfolio.

The executive also stated that the investment would create approximately 100 new jobs in Kruševac.

Neither Trayal nor the Serbian Ministry of Defence disclosed the facility's planned annual production capacity, investment value or expected output volumes.

### New Agreement With Serbian Ministry of Defence

During the same visit, Trayal signed a separate agreement with the Serbian Ministry of Defence covering the production of military camouflage equipment.

The agreement was signed by Colonel Ivan Delić, representing the ministry's Procurement and Sales Directorate, and Trayal CEO Miloš Nenezić.

According to Nenezić, the company has restored and modernized its camouflage net production capabilities after approximately two decades without supplying such equipment to the Serbian military.

Gašić also toured Trayal's rubber-technical products and protective equipment facilities and discussed further industrial cooperation with company management.

The developments form part of Serbia's efforts to expand domestic defense manufacturing and reduce reliance on imported materials and equipment. However, no production volumes, delivery schedules or contract values were announced for either the new ammonium perchlorate facility or the camouflage equipment agreement.
