Ukraine has imposed new sanctions on 79 companies and 83 individuals involved in Russia's missile production and military supply chains, targeting manufacturers and suppliers of electronic components, industrial machinery, chemical materials and drone technology.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy enacted two decisions of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council on October 24 under presidential decrees No. 1058/2026 and No. 1059/2026.

The first sanctions package targets 51 individuals and 44 legal entities connected to the production of Russian ballistic and cruise missiles, including the Iskander, Kalibr, Kh-101 and Kinzhal systems.

Among the sanctioned enterprises is the **Corporation of Special Purpose Space Systems Kometa**, which manufactures radar equipment, air defense systems and onboard electronics. **VitaReaktiv**, a chemical materials supplier involved in ballistic missile production, and **Promenergo**, a developer of optical, laser and targeting systems, are also included.

Other targeted organizations include the G. S. Petrov Institute of Plastics, the Kirov Biochemical Plant and the D. I. Mendeleyev Institute for Metrology, which supplies measurement technologies and develops software used in military applications.

The second package covers 32 Russian individuals and 35 Russian companies involved in supplying industrial equipment, electronics and raw materials to Russia's defense sector.

It includes **Gagaring**, a supplier of communications and control equipment for FPV drones, and **Virgin-EK**, which Ukrainian authorities identify as a supplier of foreign electronic components to Russian military production chains.

Another sanctioned company, **Pressmash Machine Tool Association**, supplies metalworking machinery to factories involved in producing Kh-101 and Kh-59 missiles and Orion unmanned aerial vehicles.

The measures also extend to enterprises within Russia's RUSAL industrial group. According to the Ukrainian Presidential Office, United Company RUSAL Trading House and RUSAL Taishet Aluminium Smelter imported nearly 150 million rubles worth of aluminum oxide into Russia between April 2024 and March 2025.

Ukrainian authorities link these materials to production chains supporting military aircraft, armored vehicles, missiles and drones.

Kyiv is seeking to coordinate the new restrictions with international partners, including the European Union and the United States. However, the Ukrainian designations do not automatically impose equivalent sanctions in those jurisdictions.

The latest measures expand Ukraine's efforts to disrupt Russia's access to the specialized equipment, electronic components and industrial materials required for military production.
