**Valhalla Turrets**, the Komenda-based Slovenian manufacturer of remote-controlled weapon stations (RCWS), has opened six engineering positions as it continues to scale production and expand its export footprint across Europe.

The company, known for the Loki, Midgard, Asgard, and Mangart turret families, has grown rapidly on the back of Slovenian Armed Forces orders and a widening customer base tied to Patria 8x8 Armored Modular Vehicle programs. Founder and CEO Miloš Milosavljević told the Slovenian Press Agency last year that the firm had doubled its headcount from 30 to 60 employees amid surging defense demand, describing the hiring push as a major achievement given tight labour market conditions in Slovenia's technical sector. All current openings are full-time and on-site at the company's Komenda facility.

### Open Positions

The **Software Development Engineer** and **Electrical Development Engineer** roles both focus on integrating embedded systems, sensors, actuators, and hardware for next-generation RCWS platforms, with MIL-STD and STANAG qualification work central to both positions. The software role calls for C++17 and communication protocol experience, while the electrical role centers on servo drives and vehicle electrical systems.

Valhalla is also recruiting multiple **Software Engineer C++** and **Software Engineer C#** positions. The C++ track covers real-time control algorithms and hardware integration, while the C# track spans user interfaces, backend services, and computer vision applications for turret systems.

A **DevOps - Linux Platform Engineer** opening, also with multiple slots available, targets candidates with embedded Linux, Docker, CI/CD, and secure edge-deployment experience for hardened, real-time systems.

At the leadership level, Valhalla is searching for a **Technical Director** to lead engineering teams and shape the company's product development direction as it scales.

Valhalla's hiring drive reflects a broader trend across the CEE and SEE defense industrial base, where manufacturers riding increased European defense spending are competing for a limited pool of specialized engineering talent. The company's ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110 certifications, along with its close working relationship with Slovenia's Ministry of Defence, position it as one of the region's more established RCWS producers even as it continues to add staff at pace.

Candidates without a direct match to the six listed roles can still submit a CV and introduction directly to the company for future consideration.
