Vienna, November 2025 — Technologies once reserved for elite tactical and defense training are entering a new arena. With TacticaVR, Vienna becomes the stage for Europe’s first public event translating authentic special-forces simulation into an interactive, team-based experience.

The three-day event, taking place 8–10 November 2025 at the Ballonhalle (Franz-Grill-Straße 1a, 1030 Wien), originates from the professional simulation sector and marks the debut of a gaming-oriented evolution of real-world defense and law-enforcement training systems.

Equipped with VR headsets and real-weight weapon replicas, participants engage in 5-versus-5 tactical missions adapted from genuine training programs.
No controllers. No cables. Pure adrenaline. The emphasis lies on communication, coordination, and decision-making under pressure — the very foundations of real tactical performance.

The project’s motto — “It’s not a game. It’s a mission.” — encapsulates a broader European movement: bringing the precision and discipline of professional tactical training into an accessible, ethical, and teamwork-driven setting.

While global players such as EVA (France) and Zero Latency (Global) have introduced arena-scale VR to mainstream entertainment, TacticaVR establishes a distinctly Austrian-European benchmark, prioritizing realism, safety, and responsibility over mere spectacle.

Behind the event stands a team with deep expertise in simulation engineering and defense technology, employing P-IX-based systems adapted from actual training platforms. The result is a safe, non-lethal yet immersive environment that merges physical movement, strategic thinking, and precise motion tracking.

For Austria, TacticaVR represents more than a weekend attraction — it underscores Europe’s evolving defense mindset, where innovation, discipline, and education converge in a format open to the public.
