CSG and Poland’s PGZ Partner on Modular Mining System for Tatra Platforms
Czechoslovak Group and Poland’s state-owned defense holding PGZ have formalized cooperation to jointly market a modular remote mining deployment system integrated on Tatra wheeled vehicles for export.
Czechoslovak Group (CSG) and Poland’s defense holding Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A. (PGZ) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at jointly offering a modular mining deployment system integrated on Tatra wheeled platforms for international customers.
The partnership centers on industrial and technological collaboration, pairing PGZ’s remotely operated mining solution with CSG’s heavy-duty Tatra Trucks platforms, which are already in service with multiple armed forces. According to the companies, the approach is intended to deliver a flexible, vehicle-mounted capability that can be adapted to different operational and regulatory requirements.
One of the first tangible outcomes of the agreement is a modular system integrated on a Tatra 6×6 chassis. The configuration was presented publicly for the first time at the World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh, highlighting the partners’ intent to position the solution for customers beyond their domestic markets.
The cooperation framework allows the jointly developed system to be offered to third-country customers, with an initial focus on the Middle East. Additional opportunities are expected in Europe and other regions where Tatra-based platforms are already established, potentially easing integration and lifecycle support.
Both groups indicated that the agreement is designed to strengthen their international market positions by combining complementary industrial capabilities. Beyond the mining deployment system, CSG and PGZ signaled that the partnership could be expanded to other product areas over time, subject to market demand and customer requirements.
