Czech Republic: Excalibur Army Launches Defense Innovation Accelerator, CSG’s Pavel Tuček to Lead Strategic Technology Track
Excalibur Army has launched a new Defence Innovation Accelerator to fast-track dual-use and land-systems technologies into deployment. Led by CSG Land Systems VP Innovation Pavel Tuček, the program provides real industrial validation, testing infrastructure and direct integration pathways.
Excalibur Army, a key member of the Czechoslovak Group defense portfolio, has officially opened its new Defense Innovation Accelerator with the aim of pushing prototype-stage defense and dual-use systems into deployable, field-ready capability. Pavel Tuček, Vice-President Innovation at CSG Land Systems, will oversee the core technology track, including integration, validation and modernization pathways across land platforms.
The accelerator targets engineering teams in:
- unmanned and autonomous mobility
- robotics and AI-driven land systems
- advanced engineering and dual-use components
- battlefield support, logistics, sensing and protection
Unlike conventional startup programs, this model is built around direct industrial validation, access to manufacturing and test infrastructure, and integration with land-systems programs already running inside the CSG ecosystem. Teams will receive structured technical feedback, TRL progression oversight, and live system evaluation in real conditions rather than theoretical review.
Registration for the first cohort is open at:

Tuček’s mandate covers TRL acceleration, modernization cycles for tracked and wheeled platforms, survivability packages, and the transition from prototype engineering to serial deployment. The initiative reflects CSG’s move toward operational readiness rather than incremental innovation—addressing current European demand for rapid fielding of credible land-systems upgrades.
Technical evaluation of the first participating teams is scheduled for this year, with final presentations and deployment decisions at the program’s conclusion.
