Excalibur Army Accelerator Debuts with International Tech Leaders Ahead of February Innovation Showcase
The first Excalibur Army Accelerator will bring defence technology innovators and industry experts together in February to advance prototype solutions toward field deployment. Speakers from across Europe and the United States are confirmed to lead thematic sessions and workshops.
Olomoucká, Czech Republic — The inaugural Excalibur Army Accelerator, scheduled from February 24 to 26, 2026, has confirmed its lineup of keynote speakers and industry contributors as the Czech defence manufacturer expands its innovation outreach to engineering teams, startups and industrial partners. The event aims to fast-track prototype technologies into validated capabilities for defence and dual-use applications.
The accelerator, hosted by Excalibur Army spol. s r.o. and part of the CSG DEFENCE division of Czechoslovak Group, brings together experienced innovators and technical experts to deliver workshops, interactive Q&A sessions and project assessments. The three-day programme emphasizes real-world deployment over theoretical pitches, with direct access to mentors and validation opportunities with practitioners.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Pavel Tuček, Vice-President Innovation, CSG Land Systems — overseeing strategic technology integration and validation across land systems.
- Lukas Henkel, CEO, OV Tech GmbH — engineer and systems developer with expertise in power electronics and modular defence solutions.
- prof. Ing. Bohuslav Přikryl, Ph.D., Vice President for Research, Development & Innovation, CSG — academic and industry leader focusing on technology trends and defence R&D direction.
- Raymond Kwong, Owner, Epic Optix Inc. — U.S. defence electronics entrepreneur with a background in naval electronic warfare and optical systems.
- Radek Zbořil, Scientist and Researcher — prominent chemist and materials science specialist contributing advanced materials insight for defence applications.
The programme reflects Excalibur Army’s push to unite diverse technical disciplines under a structured accelerator framework grounded in industrial application rather than purely academic review. With over ten expert speakers and more than 200 participants expected, the event will culminate in presentations from participating teams and awards for selected projects that demonstrate strong potential for operational relevance.
Organizers highlight that attendees will gain direct feedback from defence practitioners who assess technology readiness, system integration, cybersecurity standards, and materials development — all focused on closing the gap from prototype to front-line use.
Registration remained open ahead of the February event and includes access to themed workshops designed to cover key technical areas such as secure communications, software-hardware integration, AR/VR training systems, and advanced materials for survivability.
