French Minister Delegate for Europe Visits DOK-ING in Zagreb Excerpt
France’s Minister Delegate for Europe visited Croatian unmanned systems manufacturer DOK-ING in Zagreb, underscoring growing interest in European industrial capabilities for security, defense, and resilience.
Benjamin Haddad, France’s Minister Delegate for Europe, visited the facilities of DOK-ING in Zagreb on 12 January 2026 as part of an official program focused on European technological and industrial cooperation. The visit reflected increased attention at the EU level to advanced unmanned systems with applications in defense, security, and critical resilience.
The French delegation was received by company founder Vjekoslav Majetić alongside senior technical and supervisory board representatives from DOK-ING and its subsidiaries. The visiting delegation included Fabien Fieschi, France’s military attaché to Croatia, and officials from Croatia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs.
During the visit, company representatives outlined DOK-ING’s industrial development from a small engineering enterprise into an internationally active supplier of unmanned robotic systems. Presentations focused on the firm’s defense and security portfolio, as well as energy-related technologies developed through its subsidiary Indeloop, including waste-to-energy solutions.
Particular emphasis was placed on unmanned engineering and support systems designed for military mobility, counter-terrorism, emergency response, and combat support roles. Company officials also highlighted DOK-ING’s ongoing contribution to safety and recovery efforts in Ukraine, where its robotic demining platforms are used in clearing explosive remnants of war and supporting civilian safety.

Delegation toured DOK-ING’s production facilities, where several operational systems were demonstrated. These included the MV-10 BISON heavy robotic demining platform, which is currently employed in demanding unexploded ordnance clearance operations, including in Ukraine. The delegation also reviewed the MV-8 KOMODO, a newer medium-class unmanned platform that has drawn interest from armed forces following demonstrations configured for counter-unmanned aerial system roles.
According to officials accompanying the visit, the discussions also addressed broader Franco-Croatian industrial cooperation and the role of European manufacturers in strengthening defense industrial autonomy. The visit was framed as part of wider efforts to reinforce European defense-industrial capacity and interoperability through cooperation between national industries.
DOK-ING stated that the visit reaffirmed the company’s position within Europe’s evolving defense and security ecosystem, particularly as European governments place increasing emphasis on domestically developed technologies capable of supporting operational resilience in complex security environments.
