The inaugural Czech–US Defense and Security Forum, set for October 14 in Washington, D.C., will spotlight Czech industry’s major role in U.S. reindustrialization and defense supply chains. Organized by Jagello 2000 and the Hudson Institute.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a significant milestone for transatlantic cooperation, the first-ever Czech–US Defense and Security Forum will be held in Washington, D.C., on October 14, 2025. Organized by Jagello 2000 in partnership with the Hudson Institute, the event marks a new chapter in the growing defense and industrial partnership between the United States and the Czech Republic.
The forum will bring together senior U.S. and Czech government officials, defense experts, and industry leaders to explore new avenues of cooperation in defense, security, and industrial development. Discussions will center on re-industrialization through Czech investments, defense procurement reform, supply chain resiliency, and the adoption of innovative technologies.
In recent years, Czech defense companies have significantly expanded their footprint in the United States, investing tens of billions of Czech crowns and establishing operations in seven U.S. states. These firms now employ thousands of American workers and contribute across multiple sectors of the manufacturing and defense supply chain. Their growing presence underscores the Czech Republic’s role as a key industrial and defense partner from Central and Eastern Europe.
This investment wave has become a strategic pillar in bilateral relations. In Washington, Czech involvement is viewed as a vital component of the United States’ reindustrialization strategy — a cornerstone of the current administration’s economic and security policy.
Organizers hope the forum will not only highlight Czech successes in the American market but also inspire other Czech companies to explore U.S. opportunities and partnerships.
The event will also feature thematic panels, including:
- Czech Security and Defense Footprint in the United States
- Reindustrializing the American Heartland
- Building Trust in the Defense Supply Chain
- Innovation, AI, and Disruptive Technologies in Defense
- Space as a Strategic Domain for Civilian and Military Integration
The organizers extended their gratitude to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Washington, D.C., the Czechoslovak Group (CSG) as the general partner, and the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic for supporting Czech industry participation.
