Poland Receives First ARSUS 100 Recon Systems From Turkey’s Aselsan
Poland has taken delivery of its first Turkish-made ARSUS 100 reconnaissance systems from Aselsan, integrated on AMZ KUTNO vehicles. The deal strengthens Warsaw’s focus on modern ISR and ground sensor technologies amid rapid military expansion.
Poland has received its first batch of ARSUS 100 reconnaissance and surveillance systems from Turkish defense giant Aselsan, marking another milestone in Warsaw’s rapid defense modernization drive.
The advanced ARSUS 100 units are being integrated onto locally manufactured AMZ KUTNO vehicles, forming a mobile reconnaissance capability tailored for the Polish Armed Forces. The system offers high-resolution electro-optical imaging, day-night and all-weather operations, long-range data transmission, and automated moving-target tracking, enabling persistent situational awareness in complex environments.
According to Aselsan, the ARSUS 100 is a cyber-resilient platform built for NATO-level interoperability, supporting both national and allied missions. The systems are expected to be deployed for border surveillance, infrastructure protection, and tactical reconnaissance tasks.
Deliveries will continue through 2026 and 2027, under an ongoing framework between Aselsan and Polish industry partners. The cooperation underscores growing defense ties between Ankara and Warsaw, particularly in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) technology.
The deployment comes amid Poland’s broader modernization of ground and sensor networks. Over the past year, Warsaw has significantly expanded its defense portfolio, taking delivery of K2 Black Panther tanks and K9 Thunder self-propelled howitzers from South Korea, alongside confirmed purchases of F-35A Lightning II jets, AH-64E Apache helicopters, and Patriot PAC-3 missile defense systems from the United States.
Earlier in 2025, Poland also concluded a deal with Sweden’s Saab for additional 3D surveillance radars, reinforcing its push to develop an integrated multi-layered defense ecosystem.
