Steyr Arms Secures U.S. Distribution Order Following Precision Rifle Debut
Austrian manufacturer Steyr Arms has secured a significant U.S. commercial order linked to the debut of a new precision rifle platform. The agreement was concluded during the SHOT Show in Las Vegas and centers on exclusive distribution in the U.S. civilian market.
Steyr Arms has concluded a major commercial agreement in the United States following the first public presentation of its latest precision rifle platform at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas.
According to the company, the agreement provides Colorado-based Mile High Shooting Accessories with exclusive rights to distribute the new rifle on the U.S. civilian market. The order is described as a substantial initial commitment and is expected to generate roughly USD 2 million in additional revenue during the first year of sales once deliveries begin.
The newly introduced rifle expands Steyr Arms’ established precision rifle portfolio and is positioned toward long-range sport shooters and professional civilian users. The company indicated that the platform incorporates design updates focused on ergonomics and modularity while maintaining the accuracy standards associated with the Steyr SSG family.
The U.S. distribution agreement reflects Steyr Arms’ broader strategy to expand its footprint in the North American market. The manufacturer maintains an operational presence in the United States, including production and assembly capabilities, which are intended to support both civilian and institutional customers.
From an industrial perspective, the deal highlights continued demand in the U.S. precision shooting segment and underlines the importance of local partnerships for European manufacturers seeking sustained access to the American firearms market.
