TRB Bratunac Showcases “Drina” Ammunition Line at Partner 2025 Defense Fair in Belgrade

At the Partner 2025 International Defense Exhibition in Belgrade, one of the main attractions at the booth of Tehnički Remontni Zavod Bratunac (TRB) was the company’s “Drina” ammunition production line, presented as part of its expanding portfolio in the defense manufacturing sector.
According to information shared during the fair, representatives of TRB held meetings with delegations from Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria, and India, resulting in what the company described as agreements, preliminary contracts, and discussions on new market opportunities.
In addition to the “Drina” system, TRB exhibited its armored vehicles “Despot” and “Vihor”, promoted for their durability and tactical mobility, as well as the RS9 “Vampire” pistol, a product already in use by several regional security forces. Delegations from Europe and the Middle East expressed interest in industrial cooperation and technology exchange, according to TRB’s representatives.
Regional Industrial Cooperation
During the event, a symbolic gesture underscored cooperation within the defense sector of Republika Srpska. Marko Mrkajić, director of the aviation overhaul company “Orao” from Bijeljina, presented a ceremonial dagger to Slavenko Ristić, majority owner of TRB, as a sign of ongoing collaboration between the two firms.
Mrkajić noted that Orao is exploring opportunities to expand joint projects with TRB, which could lead to new jobs in Bijeljina and Bratunac, and potentially strengthen local industrial capacities.
Joint Presence at Partner 2025
Both TRB and Orao participated jointly at this year’s fair, highlighting their production and development capabilitiesas leading representatives of the defense industry of Republika Srpska. Their joint presence was presented as part of a broader effort to deepen industrial partnerships and promote the strategic role of the domestic defense sector in the regional and international market.
The Partner Defense Fair, held biennially under the patronage of the Ministry of Defense of Serbia, remains one of the most significant defense exhibitions in Southeastern Europe, bringing together manufacturers, delegations, and policymakers from across the region and beyond.
