U.S. Releases New Visuals of Strikes on Iran, Details on Weapons and Objectives

According to official material released by U.S. military authorities this weekend, footage shows naval missile launches, carrier-based fighter departures, and attacks on Iranian assets, including unmanned aerial vehicles viewed on the ground. CENTCOM described the operations as delivering an “overwhelming and unrelenting blow” to Iran’s military infrastructure.

The released visuals are part of Operation Epic Fury, a wide-ranging U.S. campaign coordinated with Israeli strikes that commenced with precision assaults on Iranian air defenses, missile sites, command and control centers, radar installations and other strategic facilities.

U.S. authorities outlined that over 20 different weapons systems were used against more than 1,000 targets during the first phases of the operation. These include long-range Tomahawk cruise missiles, stealth B-2 Spirit bombers, multirole fighters such as F-35s, electronic warfare aircraft, unmanned systems and other strike platforms. CENTCOM also noted the combat debut of one-way attack drones developed to mirror capabilities seen in Iranian designs.

In addition to kinetic strikes, footage and imagery provided by U.S. forces show the coordination of joint maritime, air and remote assets designed to degrade Iran’s ability to project force regionally. The command said there have been no significant damages to U.S. installations from Iranian counterattacks at this stage.

The broader conflict, now in its second day, has seen reported Iranian reprisals against U.S. and allied facilities in Gulf states, underscoring risks of escalation beyond Iran’s borders.
