Agencija Alan is attending the Defence Services Asia exhibition in Kuala Lumpur for the first time, marking an initial step into one of the Asia-Pacific region’s key defense industry events. The exhibition is taking place from April 20 to 23, 2026, and brings together global manufacturers, industry professionals, and government representatives.

The agency is using the event to present products and capabilities from Croatia’s defense sector, with a focus on export opportunities and partnership development. Participation is expected to support efforts to position Croatian companies within supply chains beyond Europe, particularly in Southeast Asia.

Officials indicated that engagement at DSA aligns with a broader strategy to expand into international markets. The agency aims to leverage the event to establish new business contacts and advance ongoing discussions, with some potential agreements already under negotiation.

The Croatian delegation at the exhibition also included representatives from the country’s diplomatic network. The ambassador of Croatia to Malaysia, Ivan Velimir Starčević, visited the stand alongside embassy officials, underlining institutional support for defense industry outreach abroad.

Agencija Alan’s presence at DSA reflects a continued emphasis on export growth and international cooperation, as smaller European defense industries seek to diversify markets and reduce reliance on regional demand.
