ARX Robotics Appoints Florian Taitsch to Communications Role
ARX Robotics has appointed Florian Taitsch as Senior Director Marketing & Communications, effective September 1, 2026, after four years at Eurofighter.
ARX Robotics has appointed Florian Taitsch as Senior Director Marketing & Communications, effective September 1, 2026, as the Munich-based defense technology company expands its European unmanned ground vehicle business. The newly created position gives Taitsch responsibility for communications, marketing and branding across the company.
Taitsch joins ARX Robotics after four years as Vice President Communications and Marketing at Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH. He began his career at Airbus in 2004 and later led external communications for the company’s defense business before moving to Eurofighter.
At Eurofighter, Taitsch developed the Fighter Show video format and used it as part of a broader effort to expand the program’s presence on social media and reach audiences beyond traditional defense industry channels. He confirmed his departure from Eurofighter earlier this month before announcing his move to ARX Robotics on September 15.
The appointment comes as ARX Robotics increases its industrial footprint and production ambitions. AdriaDefense reported on September 14 that the company is preparing manufacturing capacity for up to 8,000 unmanned ground vehicles annually while seeking deeper cooperation with Europe’s automotive manufacturing base.

ARX Robotics develops the tracked Gereon and wheeled Hector ground platforms alongside its Mithra OS software architecture for autonomous and existing military vehicles. The company was founded in 2022 and has also received investment from the NATO Innovation Fund as European armed forces increase their focus on autonomous land systems.
Taitsch said in his announcement that his move reflects a shift in focus from combat aviation toward the land domain and the faster development cycles associated with defense technology companies. His arrival gives ARX a communications executive with experience marketing one of Europe’s largest multinational defense programs as the company moves toward larger-scale production and a broader European presence.
