Czech industrial and defense group Czechoslovak Group (CSG) has signed a cooperation agreement with U.S.-based defense technology company Bavovna through its subsidiary Excalibur International.

Announced on October 12, 2026, the partnership focuses on expanding international access to adaptive autonomy technologies and alternative navigation solutions for military unmanned systems.

Under the agreement, Excalibur International will manage commercial coordination and use its international customer network to introduce Bavovna's technologies into defense and security projects. The cooperation covers autonomous platforms operating in the air, on the water and underwater, with particular emphasis on navigation capabilities in complex operational environments.

Executives Outline International Expansion Plans

Vojtěch Polák, Member of the Board of Directors at Excalibur International, described the agreement as part of the company's efforts to connect emerging defense technologies with established international commercial networks. Excalibur International, led by CEO Miloš Šivara, is responsible for coordinating market access and commercial opportunities under the partnership.

On the American side, Maksym Prasolov, Co-founder and Chief Growth Officer of Bavovna Inc., said the cooperation would strengthen the company's access to international defense and security programs. Prasolov highlighted Excalibur International's existing commercial relationships as an important element in bringing Bavovna's products to additional customers.

Focus on Navigation Without Satellite Signals

Bavovna develops AI-powered autonomy software and navigation technologies designed to support unmanned platforms operating where satellite navigation is disrupted or unavailable. Its systems combine multiple navigation inputs and sensor data to help vehicles maintain autonomous operation in environments affected by electronic warfare.

The company's technology portfolio includes an AI Autonomy Kit designed for unmanned aerial, surface and subsurface systems. According to Bavovna, its approach allows autonomous platforms to adapt their navigation methods as operational conditions change, reducing their reliance on continuous external positioning signals.

Bavovna has previously secured investment through the Presto Tech Horizons venture capital initiative, which supports defense and dual-use technology companies. CSG is a strategic partner of the Tech Horizons investment fund, providing an existing connection between the Czech industrial group and the American technology developer.

The newly announced agreement establishes a framework for international commercialization rather than a disclosed procurement contract. Neither company has announced the agreement's financial value, specific customer orders or delivery volumes.
