KOVO Armor Selected to Supply Ballistic Plates for Lithuanian Security Company
Lithuanian body armor manufacturer KOVO Armor has been selected to supply ballistic plates to security services provider Ekskomisarų Biuras. The agreement highlights growing demand for domestically produced protective equipment among Lithuania's security sector.
Lithuanian protection systems manufacturer KOVO Armor has announced that Ekskomisarų Biuras, one of the country's largest private security service providers, has selected the company's ballistic plates to equip its personnel.
According to KOVO Armor, the contract will enhance the protection of employees operating in rapid response and other security roles that regularly face elevated operational risks. The company said its ballistic plates are designed and manufactured in Lithuania, supporting the country's domestic industrial base.
Ekskomisarų Biuras provides security services throughout Lithuania, including rapid response operations where protective equipment is considered an essential part of personnel safety. KOVO Armor stated that the selection reflects confidence in the performance and reliability of its products for professional use.
The company also said the agreement demonstrates how cooperation between Lithuanian companies can strengthen national industrial capabilities while supporting the development of locally manufactured security and protection equipment.
As European governments and private security organizations continue to increase investments in protective equipment and resilience, domestic manufacturers are seeking to expand their role in supplying locally produced solutions that reduce dependence on foreign suppliers.
