ELDIS Pardubice Opens New Facility to Support Radar Production Expansion
Czech radar manufacturer ELDIS Pardubice has inaugurated a new building aimed at supporting its operational growth. The facility is already in trial operation and is expected to strengthen the company’s development and production capacity.
ELDIS Pardubice has formally opened a new facility intended to expand its industrial and development capabilities in the radar systems segment. The company indicated that the building is already operating in a trial mode and will play a role in supporting future growth.
The inauguration event gathered representatives from Czechoslovak Group (CSG), local and regional authorities from Pardubice, officials from the Czech Armed Forces, and industry partners. The presence of both defense stakeholders and regional institutions reflects the company’s position within the Czech defense-industrial base.
According to the company, the new infrastructure is designed to enhance its ability to deliver radar technologies and support ongoing and future projects. The expansion comes as demand for air surveillance and air traffic management systems continues to grow across both military and dual-use markets.
ELDIS Pardubice, part of the CSG group, specializes in the development and production of radar systems, including precision approach radars and air traffic control solutions. The new facility is expected to contribute to increased production capacity, improved testing capabilities, and potential workforce expansion.
The investment aligns with broader efforts within Central and Eastern Europe to strengthen domestic defense manufacturing and reduce reliance on external suppliers, particularly in critical sensing and surveillance technologies.
