The Serbian Ministry of Defense and the Serbian Armed Forces organized a public presentation of newly introduced and modernized military equipment on June 28 as part of the country's Vidovdan commemorations.

The display took place at Colonel Pilot Milenko Pavlović Air Base in Batajnica, where visitors were able to view recently fielded weapon systems and upgraded platforms before they participated in a live-fire exercise at the Pasuljanske Livade training range later in the day. According to the ministry, the event was intended to demonstrate capabilities that have entered operational service through recent procurement and modernization programs.

The exhibition included a range of land systems, air defense assets, armored vehicles, artillery, unmanned systems, and equipment produced by Serbia's domestic defense industry. The presentation reflected the Serbian Armed Forces' ongoing efforts to expand operational capabilities through a combination of indigenous development, modernization of legacy platforms, and selected foreign acquisitions.

Over the past year, Serbia has introduced more than 70 new types of military equipment into operational service, including 38 systems developed domestically, according to the Ministry of Defense. Among the notable additions are upgraded armored vehicles, new reconnaissance platforms, counter unmanned aircraft systems, and domestically produced drones, alongside continued modernization of existing combat equipment.

The Vidovdan display also served as a showcase for Serbia's defense industrial base, with equipment from national manufacturers presented alongside systems already in operational use. The ministry stated that continued investment in domestic production and modernization remains a key element of the country's force development strategy.
