Serbian and Hungarian Air Forces Conduct Joint Military Exercise
Serbian and Hungarian armed forces carried out a bilateral air exercise focused on helicopter operations and cross-border coordination. The training involved transport, search and rescue, and tactical flight activities.
The armed forces of Serbia and Hungary conducted a joint military aviation exercise aimed at improving interoperability and operational coordination between the two neighboring countries.
The exercise involved helicopter units from the Serbian Armed Forces and the Hungarian Defence Forces operating in shared airspace under coordinated command procedures. According to the Serbian Ministry of Defense, the activities included tactical flying, transport missions, search and rescue operations, and crew coordination drills.
Participating aircraft included Serbian Air Force helicopters alongside Hungarian rotary-wing aviation assets. The ministry stated that the training was designed to enhance the readiness of flight crews and strengthen cooperation in missions requiring rapid coordination between the two militaries.

The exercise was carried out within the framework of bilateral military cooperation agreements between Belgrade and Budapest. Serbian officials indicated that the activities contribute to the development of regional security cooperation and practical military coordination.
Defense ties between Serbia and Hungary have expanded in recent years through joint exercises, military exchanges, and defense industrial discussions. Both countries have increasingly emphasized regional stability and operational cooperation in Central and South-Eastern Europe.
The Serbian Ministry of Defense stated that continued joint training activities are expected as part of the annual bilateral cooperation plan between the two armed forces.
