Slovakia’s VRM and Azerbaijan’s MIRAS Sign Defense Simulation Cooperation Agreement
Slovakia’s VRM and Azerbaijan’s MIRAS have signed an MoU to explore military simulation and training projects in Azerbaijan and international markets.
Slovak defense technology company Virtual Reality Media (VRM) and Azerbaijan’s MIRAS Military Industrial Company have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand cooperation in military simulation and training technologies.
The agreement establishes a framework for long-term cooperation, including the potential delivery of VRM’s simulation systems and training solutions to government institutions and security agencies in Azerbaijan and selected international markets.
Based in Trenčín, Slovakia, VRM specializes in developing and manufacturing simulation and training systems for military aviation and ground forces. Its portfolio includes simulators for fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and armored vehicles.
MIRAS, headquartered in Baku, provides defense industry capabilities, including military equipment maintenance, repair and modernization. The partnership is intended to combine VRM’s simulation expertise with MIRAS’ local industry experience and market access.
The announcement comes during ADEX 2026, the international defense exhibition taking place in Baku from September 30 to October 2, where VRM is exhibiting at the Slovak National Pavilion.
