Poland has delivered another batch of FlyEye reconnaissance drone systems manufactured by domestic defense company WB Group to military reconnaissance units and the Polish Air Force University in Dęblin.

The Armament Agency announced the latest deliveries on October 30, with Polish defense media reporting additional details on November 2.

According to the agency, more than a dozen FlyEye systems were transferred to reconnaissance regiments and the military aviation training institution over a period of several weeks.

The deliveries follow an earlier batch transferred in September under Poland's ongoing unmanned aircraft procurement program, supported by the European Union's Security Action for Europe (SAFE) financing instrument.

FlyEye Deliveries Support Large Polish Drone Procurement

The latest shipment forms part of Poland's wider procurement of domestically developed military unmanned systems.

In May 2026, the Polish Armament Agency signed three contracts with WB Group covering FlyEye reconnaissance aircraft, Warmate loitering munitions and additional GLADIUS reconnaissance-strike systems.

The FlyEye agreement covers 190 unmanned aerial systems intended primarily for operational forces and the Territorial Defense Forces.

WB Group has also confirmed plans to equip reconnaissance platoons within Polish tank battalions with FlyEye, expanding the system's role within mechanized formations.

The latest deliveries strengthen the ability of Polish units to conduct battlefield surveillance, identify potential threats and provide information to commanders.

WB Group Expands Production and Operational Deployment

FlyEye is a hand-launched tactical reconnaissance aircraft designed to operate without a dedicated runway or launching catapult.

Its modular electro-optical payload supports day and night observation, including thermal imaging. The system has been operated by Polish forces and used in Ukraine.

The increasing number of FlyEye systems entering service also creates requirements for operator training, maintenance, spare parts and integration with other battlefield systems.

WB Group has been expanding its industrial partnerships alongside domestic deliveries. In September, AdriaDefense reported on a training cooperation agreement between WB Electronics and CAE focused on unmanned and autonomous military systems.

The group also supplies GLADIUS reconnaissance-strike systems and Warmate loitering munitions, forming part of Poland's effort to expand domestically manufactured unmanned capabilities.

The Armament Agency has not disclosed the exact number of individual aircraft included in the latest October delivery, nor the value of that particular shipment.

Further deliveries are expected under existing procurement arrangements as Poland continues equipping its forces with reconnaissance drones.
